Backup

Sometimes it is necessary to reserve the source or, when the main source is lost, start broadcasting the mediafile.

    Active backup — By default.
If the first source is unavailable and there is a backup source, Astra will switch to it. Switching conditions: PES or CC error, channel encrypted or no bitrate/data.
During the operation of the backup source, Astra will analyze the primary and, in case of recovery, will switch to it.
Astra will continue broadcasting from the last source in the list, even if the data stream contains errors.\

Active backup and Stop streaming if all inputs are inactive
If the first source is unavailable and there is a backup source, Astra will switch to it. Switching conditions: PES or CC error, channel encrypted or no bitrate/data.
During the operation of the backup source, Astra will analyze the primary and, in case of recovery, will switch to it.
Astra will stop broadcasting from the last source in the list, even if the data stream contains errors.\

    Passive backup
Astra switches to the next stream and does not monitor the stream with errors, disabling it. If the stream is not available, it switches to the next one, etc. Streams are switched in a circle: 1->2->3->1->2

    Disable - Disable backup.

START DELAY - delay, in seconds, before switching to the next source.
RETURN DELAY - delay in seconds before switching to the previous source. During this delay, the Astra will keep track of the previous source. At its errors - timer will be reset.

    Example:

In this example, if the main source of the signal is lost, then there will be an immediate switch to the backup, and in the case of recovery of the main source, there will be monitoring it for 300 seconds to prevent chaotic switching (during a thunderstorm or squally wind source can be restored for a second or two. Chaotic switching between sources will make channel viewing impossible.)
